We had such a wonderful experience! The service was friendly, helpful, and welcoming from start to finish. We bought smoked fish and whitefish pepperettes and both were absolutely delicious, and the price for the smoked fish was better than other places in the area. The lady and her husband even took the time to share when it was smoked and how long to keep it, such great service! We also ordered a fish and chips meal and a kids’ meal, and both were fresh, tasty, and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Delicious Stop at Agawa Fish & Chips! Agawa Fish & Chips is a must-visit if you’re in the area. The fish was incredibly fresh, crispy on the outside, tender and flaky inside. The coating was light and perfectly seasoned. The chips were hot, thick-cut, and just the right amount of crispy. Paired with their tasty house-made tartar sauce, every bite was spot on. Friendly service and a relaxed vibe made it even better. A perfect stop for classic comfort food done right. Highly recommend!

Agawa Fish and Chips was a nice spot to stop for lunch. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. I was expecting the prices to be a bit lower since it’s a local place and probably doesn’t have huge costs like rent, but it felt a little overpriced. Still, the quality was great, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re passing through…

This is not your typical fish and chips place, the whitefish is flaky, fresh and firm with the skin on to boot and a very light batter. It's a light tasting fish with a crispy skin, matches very well with their tartar sauce. You don't need to drown the fish in thick batter if it's good and fresh from Superior. $20 for a couple of filets with excellent fries and slaw. Try the smoked fish too which we think is trout, just the right smokiness and saltiness to it with a nice natural smoke bark around the soft fish. Onion rings done right too. A must stop when driving through Hwy 17.

Delicious ! Dad recommended the fries and he was right! Very good. Nice portion. Fish is cooked well! My fiancé liked the poutine and hotdog. Thank you! Best of luck this summer.

We stopped in during our drive down from Lake Superior Provincial Park. The ladies working here were incredibly kind. The fish and poutine itself was better than 10/10. Probably the best fish and chips we've ever had! The portion was huge - 2 average adult eaters could definitely share comfortably. Would definitely recommend!

If your in need of some great road side food then you gotta stop in here. Had the baccon burger with 2 extra patties. What a great simple burger. Also have to mention that the ladies working were great and was nice to chat with. Will definitely come back and would highly recommend stopping in.

Fish and chips fried right in front of you and made with freshly caught white fish right on the side of the road. It's got it all. Your well deserved break on the long road above lake Superior.
